Dierdre Jean Fettig, 59, of Crawfordsville passed away from COVID-19 complications and rejoined the Angels she so loved on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Lafayette.
She was born May 7, 1961, to Sharon (Wayne) Carr and Ron McNorton. Dierdre married the love of her life, Phil, on May 5, 1990.
Dierdre was a 1979 graduate of Crawfordsville High school. She was a successful restaurant manager for many years, and later owned and operated The Big Dipper for several years. After selling the business, Dee focused on raising her children, then provided care for the elderly in their homes.
Dee loved cooking and growing herbs on her deck garden. Always experimenting with new recipes, she presented wonderful dishes to family and friends. She also loved houseplants, especially succulents.
Dee enjoyed shooting targets with her handgun, and recently, throwing axes at targets. While spending time with the family was the most important thing to Dee, she also cherished time spent with friends on Girls’ Night, Euchre Card Club and wine tasting trips. Having traveled to France, Germany, Australia and Canada, Dee had focused recent travels on exploring the wonders of the United States.
Dee’s mission in life was that of service, to help others. She was a caring individual that always put others first, focused on healing souls, and helped many on their spiritual journeys.
She is survived by loving husband Philippe Fettig; mother Sharon Carr; son Jean Luke (Alejandra Coar) Fettig; daughter Nicolette Fettig; two brothers, Duane Alexander and Dennis Alexander; sister Michele Keller; aunt Annie Gillogly; and many nieces and nephews.
Dierdre is preceded in death by dad Wayne Carr; father Ron McNorton; brother Dwayne McNorton; sisters, Velvet Alexander and Lana McNorton; and beloved family dog, Duchess.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3 at the funeral home, with Ron Addler officiating. Out of concern and for everyone’s safety, the family requests that everyone wears a mask and social distance. The service will be live-streamed and recorded, which can be viewed on Dee’s obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Burial will follow at Oak Hill North Cemetery.

Pastor Thomas ‘Tom’ Wyatt
May 31, 1932-July 28, 2020
Pastor Thomas “Tom” Wyatt, 88, of Lebanon passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at home.
Pastor Tom was born May 31, 1932, at Lebanon, a son of the late Rollie E. and Edrie (Carpenter) Wyatt. He was married to Norma Reagan Wyatt and they just celebrated 65 years of marriage on Jan. 1, 2020. She passed Jan. 12, 2020.
Pastor Tom was a graduate of Lebanon High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a mechanic from 1952-56. He was a supervisor at Commercial Filters/Parker/Hannifin. He also sold real estate and life insurance for Western & Southern. Pastor Tom was a chaplain at Witham Memorial Hospital and the Boone County Jail. He was the “Voice of Faith” on his radio show on Sunday morning and had a religious column in the Lebanon Reporter. He was the Pastor with his wife at One Way Christian Church in Lebanon for 27 years and prior to that had pastored at Crawfordsville Word Fellowship. Pastor Tom was also a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 352.
Survivors include his children, Dee Ann (Frank) Pultz of Lebanon, Michael (Daphne) Wyatt of Noblesville, and Brian and Kevin Wyatt, both of Lebanon; grandchildren, Sarah (Devon) Johnson of Indianapolis, Jessica (Dan Stout) Stephens of Lebanon, Leah Pultz of Indianapolis, Abigail (Nicholas) England of Indianapolis and Joseph Wyatt of Fishers; great-grandchildren, Alayna Johnson, Faith Johnson, Mattie Warren, Troy Johnson, Sofia Johnson and Peyton England; brother-in-law Mark Reagan; sister-in-law Margaret Wyatt; lifelong friend, Patty Jamison; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Thomas was preceded in death by grandson Eric Wyatt and siblings, John Wyatt, Hazel Noonan, Betty Wright, Virginia Davis, Billy Wyatt and Richard Wyatt.
Everyone is welcome for the visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2 at Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3 at One Way Christian Church, 445 N. C.R. 500W, Lebanon, with calling one hour prior to the service. Pastor Tom will be laid to rest at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown.
