Donald Jason Reamer, 47, of Crawfordsville passed away on his 47th birthday, June 2, 2021, at home while surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 2, 1974, at Charleston, South Carolina, to Harry John Reamer and Pamela J. (Stonebraker) Hauser.
Don graduated from North Montgomery High School and worked at Raybestos as a machinist for 15 years. He married the love of his life, Laura Lawson, on Aug. 11, 2006. He was an avid gardener, a big nerd that loved Star Wars and Marvel, and cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; his mother, Pamela (Steve) Hauser; his children, Shelby Reamer, Justin Green and Cody (Victoria) Zapfe; six grandchildren, Araya, Kamden, Mason, Khloe, Kendrick and Gunnar; brother John (Terri) Reamer; sister Ruth Anne (Robert) Light; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry John Reamer; brother Harry James Reamer; and grandparents, James and Ruth Stonebraker, Iva Heide and Carl Reamer.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 4 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, with Pastor Alan Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at New Richmond Cemetery.
