Dorothy Rosetta Lyon, 84, of Ladoga passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at Witham Health Services.
Dorothy was born Jan. 8, 1937, to the late Charles and Bessie (Devers) Wolfe.
She married Bob Wilderman in Danville, Illinois. He preceded her in death. She later married Danny Ray Lyon on July 23, 1930. He preceded her in death Feb. 6, 2005. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-nieces and nephews. She loved playing bingo and cards.
Dorothy is survived her children, Kenny Ray (Pam) Lyon and Marsha (Veronica) Shepherd; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four sisters, Cindy Siefert, Wanda Winegarder, Myrtlebelle Fearthston and Charlene Coonse; and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob and Danny; three brothers, Tommy, Bill and John Wolfe; six sisters, Genevieve Wolfe, Bessie Mae Anglemyer, Grace Pratt, Marge Yolkus, Mary Wise and Josephine Wilder; and her mother-in-law Goldie Hensel.
Visitation will be at from noon until the time of the service at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 4 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville. The service will be live-streamed and recorded, which can be viewed on Dorothy’s obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com.
