Dusk to Dawn plans annual Harvest Festival

Posted

Fall brings so many wonderful things to our community. Cool evenings, changing leaves, and activities that people love and associate with fall like apple picking and football games also remind us that the holidays are not far behind. Hopefully with the pandemic pause in activities behind us, people are looking forward to all those celebrations of the season that are upon us.

Seasonal fairs are unfolding, and many unique holiday gifts can be had for a reasonable price. Dusk to Dawn Bereavement Services has been celebrating the season with our Harvest Festival since 2014. After a pause in 2020, we renewed our efforts last year and had the best fair ever. Our Harvest Festival has been held on the first Saturday of November for many years. It is one of several community holiday celebrations on that day and people look forward to making a day of it. Visitors thoroughly enjoy our silent auction that enables everyone to play. They often tell us ours is the best silent auction around.

Please join us for the Dusk to Dawn Harvest Festival at Christ Lutheran Church, 300 W. South Blvd., on Saturday. Fair hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with plenty of free parking. As always, our festival will feature local vendors and crafters, and our silent auction. There is always something for everyone. Come out for a day of fun and festivities as together we support free access to counseling services and educational programs to anyone suffering a loss in our midst.
