The Flower Lovers Garden Club would like to invite the community to attend its Bi-annual Garden & Art Tour scheduled for June 29. The hours for the tour will be 11 a.m to 5 p.m. (rain or shine).
Eight gardens in and around Crawfordsville will be featured. There will be an added feature to enjoy at each garden.
This is a ticketed event and the cost for the tour is $12 per person. Those attending who are age 12 and younger will be admitted for free.
Organizers suggest a tour ticket would make a nice Mother’s Day ( May 11) gift for the gardener in one’s life.
This event is the club’s biggest fundraiser and members are working hard to get everything just right. All proceeds will continue to support beautification in the community, including the planting and maintenance of the downtown planters that reflect each season throughout the year.
“We certainly do appreciate the time and efforts of each of the eight committed gardeners as they share their varied spaces, designs, ideas and garden stories,” said Priscilla Zachary, club member.
Throughout the months of May and June, the club will share in the Journal Review a weekly preview of each garden.
