Edith Chambers, 77, of Dana went to be with the Lord on Oct. 16, 2024, at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute.
She was born March 17, 1947, at Danville, Illinois, to the late David and Betty Mariage.
Edith leaves behind her husband, Norman Chambers; her son, Aaron Clark; and her daughter, Brenda Clark. She had seven grandchildren, Josh McFall, Angelique Jones, Dylan (Bailey) Jones, Ozzy (Brieanna) Jones, Danika (Mason) Spurr, Ronald Berry and Casey (Natalie) Clark; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ronald Clark; and one sister.
Edith retired from RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville. She enjoyed gardening, flea marketing and working in her flower beds. She was a member of Bono Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.
A visitation will be held 10 a.m. to noon CST Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Sunset Funeral Home’s Houghton-Leasure Chapel, 200 E. West St., Georgetown, Illinois. A funeral service celebrating Edith’s life will follow the visitation directly after at noon, also at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Stearns Cemetery in Muncie following services.
Memorial contributions in Edith’s honor may be made out to the Bono Methodist Church.
