Larry “Tom” England will retire from Lakeside Book Company on Jan. 3 after 46 years of dedicated service.
England began his long standing career on Sept. 10, 1976. He has held several roles such as material handler, line utility (lines 8 and 9), board cutter, cloth cutter operator and in his present role as production scheduler 2.
He enjoys spending time with his children, Amanda (Tyler) Wence, Rebecca England and Lonnie (Brittany) England and his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
His hobbies include playing golf and softball, umpiring softball, playing cards, watching IU Basketball, watching his son race and is a member of Eagles 1005, Sons of the American Legion Post 72 and USA Umpiring.
