Eutsler was Montgomery County’s only member of the 150-member choir and was selected by audition before a panel of judges to participate. Redding conducted the choir. Kavanaugh, who is now the Director of Music and Liturgy at the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception and St. Ann Church & Shrine, a Pastorate of the Roman Catholic Diocese-of-Lafayette-in-Indiana, is an ICDA District Representative. In remarks thanking students, parents, and teachers, Redding said, “I don’t think of this as a concert, it is an experience. I do not take the podium for granted. It is an honor to stand here. I tell the students to sing to inspire, not to impress. Eutsler Is pursuing a five-year Bachelor of Music double major in vocal performance and choral/general music education leading to a P-12 certification at Butler University.
