Fall Plant Exchange set for Saturday

Posted

The Montgomery County Master Gardeners will have the Fall Plant Exchange from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. This free event will be held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.

Do you have plants to share? Perennials, bulbs or gathered seeds, maybe a cutting from an interesting indoor plant, succulents, grasses, or a small tree start.

Donations of  gently used garden tools, yard art, planters and pots are welcome too and will be made available at a suggested amount. Proceeds will go toward the Master Gardeners event.

Bring your “exchange items” to the fairgrounds and “shop” the tables to make a trade.

If you aren’t prepared to trade anything, cash donations will be accepted to continue support of  your local Master Gardeners as they “Help Others Grow” in Montgomery County.

The event will also give you the opportunity to get your gardening questions answered and to share your gardening experiences with local experts.

This venue is a great way to try something new in your garden at no cost.
