We have done a lot of technique work throughout the season to get them to this point and we are as ready as you can be.”

North Montgomery returns 23 of 24 swims to the A and B finals on Saturday. The 200 medley relay team will be seeded fifth, while the 200 and 400 freestyle relays are seeded first with times of 1:45.65 and 3:56.44 respectively.

“Even with unusual circumstances, the girls have continued to improve throughout the season,” Southmont coach Jane Coudret said. “I have been impressed with how this team has handled everything. I know mentally there were times when I wanted to give up but I would show up for practice and this group of girls would be ready to go. If someone was out for quarantine, they would come back ready to work hard to get back lost training time. Their attitude has really kept me going this season.”
