Byron Cox American Legion Post 72 invites all veterans and their spouses to the post for their flu shots on Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Walgreens will be providing the shots with the high dose being available to those 65 or older. Participants must present their Medicare card to receive the vaccination at no cost.
Sugar Creek Eye Care will be giving eye exams and Montgomery County Veterans Service Officer Joe Ellis will be on hand to assist veterans with any issues they may have. No other vendors will be on site due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Blue Star Mothers will be serving biscuits and gravy during the morning.
Social distancing will be required and everyone is encouraged to wear masks.
