LAFAYATTE — Franciscan Health Lafayette is hosting a free virtual support group every Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. EST beginning April 8 and running through May 27. Additional dates after May 27 will be scheduled on an as needed basis.
Due to current world events and the rapidly unfolding COVID-19 pandemic, Franciscan Health’s in-person support group is no longer meeting. We recognize new mothers may have many questions, concerns and need additional support upon arriving home. This virtual support group will offer ways to keep new parents connected and offer support for new mothers and families who may have questions about self-care after delivery, newborn care and breastfeeding.
The group will be led by a registered nurse who specializes in mother/baby care and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
There is no cost to participate in the support group, but registration is required and can be made by calling 765-449-5133 or online at FranciscanHealth.org/EducationWI. Once registered, participants will receive an email with a private link to join the meeting.
