The library has placed two stories along the trail for families to read during October. Story Time, which is designed for children under 5, takes place at 10 a.m. Wednesdays on the trail. Another children’s program, Wiggle and Giggle, a music and movement activity, takes place at 10 a.m. Fridays at Pike Place. Both events are held weather-permitting and no registration is needed. The Elementary Explorers, a program for children in grades K-5, is held at 4 p.m. Tuesdays at the library pavilion, weather-permitting. Registration is required by calling 765-362-2242 ext. 2. The library’s Pumpkin Book Character Contest begins Oct. 24.
