A gofundme account has been established to assist a local family who lost their home and possessions Tuesday in a house fire.
Cameron and Stacey Jewell and their three children were not at their 1400 W. Market St. home when the fire was reported at 8:27 p.m. However, the family’s four dogs were there and were unable to escape. All four pets perished in the fire.
The fire remains under investigation, but the cause is believed to be electrical in nature.
