Gary D. Gravens, 62, of Crawfordsville passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born July 11, 1958, at Crawfordsville, to the late Cecil and Christine Marie Gravens. He was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School. He worked at Crown Cork and Seal for over 30 years and retired in 2019.
He loved sitting out on his front porch waving at everyone who drove by and hunting mushrooms, spending time with his family (especially) loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his life partner of almost 25 years, Carol Folck; her children, Stacy Kinkade and Jimmy (wife Vicki) Reynolds; grandchildren, Luke Kinkade, Kaylyn Reynolds, Konnor Reynolds and Jack Bailey; and his siblings, Linda (Stanley) Taylor and Steve Gravens of Crawfordsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Christine Marie and Cecil Gravens, and brothers, Danny Gravens and Bill Gravens
A visitation will be held noon to 2 p.m. Friday, June 4 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held after visitation at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Hunt & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family.
