Gary Lane Duncan, 76, of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at Lane House, Crawfordsville.
He was born June 20, 1944, at Detroit, Michigan, to the late Lloyd and Dorothy May (McPike) Duncan. He married Clara “Pearl” (Alexander) Duncan. They later divorced.
Gary graduated from Detroit High School after which he began his training to become a diesel mechanic. Gary later in his life worked for Hobbs Nursery in Plainfield. He enjoyed classic cars, Indians, nature, being outdoors and his family.
He is survived by his children, Tina (Jeff) Timm, and Ray (Latosha) Duncan, both of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren; and sister Margaret (Greg) Dow Duncan, Vancouver, British Columbia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Marsha Ann, Mary Ellen, Allan Dale, Roland Lloyd and Larry Gene.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Friends may visit with the family at 11 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Masks are recommended, and social distancing requirements will be followed.
