Gospel group Legacy Five coming to MDT

Posted

HILLSBORO — Myers Dinner Theatre is always seeking to bring quality entertainment to its Hillsboro venue, and the tradition continues with the popular Gospel singing group, Legacy Five, who will be appearing at MDT for two shows on Thursday.

Legacy Five has enjoyed more success in their short career than many groups experience in decades. In their first 10 years, The Singing News Magazine, Southern Gospel music’s leading fan and trade publication, has nominated Legacy Five for some 90 Singing News fan awards. Year after year they are recognized as one of Gospel music’s favorite southern gospel groups. The Southern Gospel Music Association honored Legacy Five with Recording of the year and they are the 2020 Dove Award Recipient for their album “Pure Love.”

The rich four- and five-part harmony that Legacy Five has become noted for is the result of a masterful weaving together of five unique and versatile talents. Matt Fouch sings the bass, Bryan Walker sings the baritone, Scott Fowler sings the Lead, Lee Black sings the tenor and Garrett Anderson on Keys.

The matinee begins with the meal at noon (Eastern) with the show following the meal. The evening performance begins with the meal at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $53, plus tax and fees. Tickets may be purchased by phone at 765-798-4902, ext. 2, or by visiting online at www.myersdt.com.

Myers Dinner Theatre is located at 108 Water St., Hillsboro, and is handicap accessibile.
