Harold Barclay will celebrate his 96th birthday on Saturday.
He was born Nov. 30, 1923, near Richmond, Kentucky, to Luther and Clara Parke Barclay. He was a farm owner/operator from 1942 until his retirement in 2009. He married Betty Kincaid in 1947 and they still reside in their own home.
They are the parents of Ken, Ed (deceased), Neil, Mark and Lewis.
Harold was a Montgomery County Councilman for 28 years and served as president for several terms. He was also a member of the original Economic Development Commission.
