Harold M. Busenbark of Crawfordsville passed away Monday morning, Jan. 13, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Lafayette East. He was 92.
Harold retired from R R Donnelley and Sons after 39 years of service. He owned and operated Harold’s Mum and Evergreen Garden on East Wabash for 34 years. He loved gardening, bowling and playing golf. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the American Legion.
Born May 10, 1927, at Crawfordsville, he was the son of Raymond and Carrie Busenbark. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Delores P. Busenbark on June 17, 1945. She passed away Jan. 27, 2011.
Surviving family includes: son Arlen Busenbark of Crawfordsville; brother Chris Busenbark (Bev) of North Salem; daughter-in-law Sharon Busenbark (the late Keith) of McKinney, Texas; and several grandsons, granddaughters, nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by son Keith Busenbark; four brothers, Kenneth, Arthur, baby Michael and baby Raymond; four sisters, Martha, Barbara, Patty and baby Hazel.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Ave. Services will begin at 3 p.m., led by Pastor Kelly Nelson. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
