Hawkins appointed next CNO of Witham Hospital

Witham Health Services is pleased to announce Julie Hawkins, MSN, RN, NEA-BC joined Witham’s leadership team as Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer on Monday.

Hawkins comes to Witham from Community Hospital North where she was director of nursing for more than six years, leading a 48-bed medical-renal-oncology unit, a 20-bed observation unit, outpatient infusion as well as diabetes care.

Her extensive nursing leadership includes nearly five years at St. Vincent where she led care teams for all specialty areas of observation patients including medical, surgical, trauma, neuro and cardiac. She also brings with her more than 10 years of experience at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.

Hawkins graduated with her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Purdue University and her master of science in nursing from Ball State University. She also earned her credentials as Nurse Executive Advanced–Board Certified via the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification. NEA-BC recipients focus on strategy, high-level finance, resource management and system integration.

She lives in Lebanon with her husband Ryan and two children, Maddie and Gavin.
