Helen Louise Glover, 103, of Covington passed away at 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at West Park Nursing Home in Indianapolis.

Louise was born March 25, 1917, at Veedersburg, the daughter of Fred and Frieda Demmich. She married James Albert Glover. He preceded her in death Dec. 29, 1985.

Surviving family include: two sons, Bill D. Glover, Covington, and Bob W. Glover, Champaign, Illinois; daughter Brenda K. Glover, Beech Grove; five grandchildren, Sue (Mike) Lawson, Mary Ferretti, Richard P. (Michelle) Glover, Nancee (Richard) Taylor, Scott (Marianne) Rouse and Lindsey Glover; a step-grandson; and several great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband; three daughters, Anna Beth Fordice, Betty J. Rouse and Becky S. Glover; sister Frances Wallace; and daughter-in-law Pam Glover.

Louise graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1935. She had previously been a member of the Osborn Prairie Church. She had enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband Albert. She loved her life on the farm, and had always wanted to get back home. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, especially with the ladies at the Veedersburg First Christian Church. She also enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 17 at Osborn Prairie Cemetery, near Stone Bluff. Visitation will be 1–2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg. Burial will be at Osborn Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Osborn Prairie Church restoration project, payable to Bill Glover.
