Helen Lucille (Miles) Bundy, 97, of Crawfordsville passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at the Lane House.
She was born Nov. 18, 1926, at Crawfordsville, to the late Howard and Olive (Shafer) Miles.
Helen was raised on a farm in Bal Hinch. She attended New Market Schools. Helen married James Bundy on Nov. 29, 1946. He preceded her in death Oct. 29, 1991.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, and cooking.
Helen is survived by daughter Carla (Larry) Wright; granddaughter Kelly (Chuck Stephenson) Newlin; great-grandchildren, Logan (Brittany) Newlin and Mason (KC) Newlin; a bonus great-granddaughter, Genesis Northcutt; three great-great-grandsons; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by brother Lewis Miles and his wife, Naomi Miles.
A private family graveside will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
