Mounties fall to Bruins
The Southmont boys’ basketball team fell to Sagamore Conference foe Tri-West 69-49 on Tuesday night.
Logan Oppy led the Mounties with nine points, while Reese Long, Luke Gregg, and Aidan Portwood each chipped in eight.
Southmont is now 5-12 overall and 2-4 in Sagamore Conference play. The Mounties host Fountain Central on Friday.
Mustangs fall to Trojans
The Fountain Central boys’ basketball team fell to Wabash River Conference foe Covington 62-34 on Tuesday night.
Carson Eberly and Mason Larkin led the Mustangs with nine points apiece.
Fountain Central is now 9-11 overall and 1-5 in Wabash River Conference play. The Mustangs travel to Southmont on Thursday.
