Chargers sweep Bulldogs
North Montgomery picked up a 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-23) win over Clinton Central on Tuesday.
Kholey Surface led the Chargers with 12 kills, while Emily Sennett chipped in seven. Surface added 20 digs, while Haley Burton had six. Gracie Chapman had 14 assists, and Welch 13.
Mustangs fall to Stars
The Fountain Central boy’s tennis team dropped a 4-1 match to Western Boone on Tuesday.
At No. 1 singles Carson Eberly defeated Keith Dobbs 6-1, 6-3. Cody Linville fell to Tyler Brunty 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, while Brent Myers lost 6-1, 6-0 to Zach Collins at the No. 3 position.
Jacob Keeling and Denton Otero fell to Chase Lee and Aidan Smith at No. 1 doubles 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, while Sawyer Keeling and CJ Yager fell to Harrison Fields and Kaden Landers 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
