How to survive being in a Shakespeare play

The Parke Heritage Middle School Drama Department will be performing the play “How to Survive Being in a Shakespeare Play” on April 16 and April 17 at 6 p.m. in the Parke Heritage High School cafetorium.

The play synopsis includes “If you have ever found yourself performing in one of Shakespeare’s many plays, more often than not, your character is going to die. The actors have nine tips on how to stay alive!” The play borrows scenes and characters from Shakespearen plays including Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Antony and Cleopatra among others.

Tickets for the play are $5. Directors are Molly Blystone and Whitney Anderson. Kylie Gates is also assisting with the play.
