BOONE COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the I-65 northbound exit ramp (exit 147) to State Road 47 will close on or after May 20 near Thorntown. This is in connection to the I-65 added travel lanes project in Boone County. The official detour follows I-65 southbound to U.S. 52 (exit 141). S.R. 47 eastbound and westbound traffic will use U.S. 52. The ramp is expected to reopen after the end of November, weather permitting.
