The Indiana High School Football Coaches Association released the 2024 all-academic teams on Friday.
North Montgomery’s Jayden Thompson was named to the Colts Indiana High School Academic All-Star team. The award recognizes 24 Indiana high school players in the state for excellence in the classroom and on the playing field.
Of the 24 recipients, 23 are either class a valedictorian or salutatorian.
The IFCA also announced their Academic All State Team in each region and football class.
Region 6 all-academic players in 2A were Thompson and Tyler Petrowski of Southmont.
Selected from Region 6 3A was Sam Minnette of Crawfordsville.
Region 4 1A recipient was Landon Hardy from Covington.
