The Indiana State Department of Health announced Sunday morning that 464 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories. That brings to 4,411 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus.
A total of 127 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days. To date, 22,652 tests have been reported to ISDH.
The Montgomery County Health Department did not report any new numbers Sunday. Its most recent report was issued Saturday morning, when officials announced there were four new confirmed cases in the county. All four are adult patients, bringing the Montgomery County total to 16 positive cases. There have been no deaths in Montgomery County linked to the illness.
According to the numbers released Sunday morning by the ISDA, 115 tests have been administered for Montgomery County residents.
State reports show that nearby, Fountain County has two confirmed cases, one death, and 43 tested; Tippecanoe County has 29 cases, one death, and 595 tested; Boone County has 57 cases, one death, and 267 tested; Hendricks County has 177 cases, four deaths and 620 tested; Putnam County has 11 cases, one death, and 110 tested; and Parke County has two cases, no deaths, and 28 tested.
The complete list of counties with cases is included in the ISDH COVID-19 dashboard at www.coronavirus.in.gov, which is updated daily. Cases are listed by county of residence. Private lab reporting may be delayed and will be reflected in the map and count when results are received at ISDH.
