Caitlyn Suanne Isenberg became the bride of Jesse Wayne Schoolcraft on Oct. 9. 2021, at the First Christian Church of Morgantown. Mr. Burt Brock joined the two in marriage.
Parents of the bride are Mark and Pam Isenberg of Crawfordsville. grandparents are Sue Tandy of Crawfordsville and the late Bob J. Tandy.
The groom is the son of Paul and Lisa Schoolcraft of Middletown, Ohio.
The bride was given away by her father after Caitlyn surprised the groom by singing “When I Say I Do” before walking down the aisle.
Matron of honor was Trisha Keffer, sister of the bride. Best man was Aidyn Monday.
Attendants were: Kyle Keffer, brother-in-law of the bride, Emily Tandy, cousin of the bride, Jamie Shonkwiler, Laura Bush, Katie Hobbs, Riddick Bolton, Seth Mackin, Matt Houser, Drew Willis and Randy Worthington.
Ring bearers were Kase and Kain Keffer, nephews of the bride and flower girls were Kali and Raina Line, nieces of the groom.
Pianist for the ceremony was Jennifer Cole Woodrow, friend of the bride’s family.
The bride and groom had a tree planting ceremony to honor both of their hometowns by adding dirt from both of their homes. They also took communion together. The reception was hosted by the bride’s parents in the church where the ceremony was held. Pam Isenberg, mother of the bride, made the wedding cake. Allison Stacy of Oxford was the photographer and Ray Hart of Crawfordsville was the videographer.
Caitlyn is a 2013 graduate of Southmont High school in Crawfordsville. She is also a 2017 graduate of Indiana State University, where she studied elementary and special education and her master’s of curriculum and instruction at Indiana State. She is a self-contained special education teacher at John R. Wooden Middle School in Martinsville.
Jesse is a 2011 graduate of Madison High School in Middletown, Ohio. He is also a 2015 graduate of Indiana University, where he studied secondary education. He is an eighth grade U.S. History teacher at John R. Wooden Middle School in Martinsville. He is a private pilot and they enjoy seeing the sights of both of their hometowns from the sky.
The couple returned from their honeymoon in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to their home in Martinsville with their dog Nora, two cats, Trixie and Socks, and their goats.
