Janet M. Metzger, 82, passed away peacefully Oct. 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 8, 1942, at Crawfordsville, to the late Dafford Warren and Ethel Mae (nee Rhodes) Allen; loving mother of Terrie Metzger and Todd (Alicia) Metzger; loving grandmother of Sean Metzger and Kyle Metzger; dear sister of the late Bob Allen and Warren Allen; dear aunt and friend to many.
Janet was a member of the YMCA, Festus, Missouri. She found joy in being outdoors, tending to her beautiful yard, and cherished time with her family at the beach.
A celebration of life visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010.
