Jimmy Fults, 73, of Crawfordsville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born Dec. 22, 1947, at Indianapolis, to the late J. Keith and Martha Mae (Todd) Fults.
Jimmy graduated from Pike High School in 1966 and married the love of his life, Susan, on May 11, 1990. Throughout the years he worked in maintenance at GM Truck and Bus in Indianapolis for 30 plus years. He loved fishing, NASCAR, IU basketball, mushroom hunting, smoking BBQ, and spending time with his family. He was a faithful servant and member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he was dedicated to running the sound equipment.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; six children, Tami Lang, Jamey (Marilyn) Fults Jr., Hollie (Shane) Fults-MacCloud, Keith Fults, Michael (Olesja) Hull and Krista (Joe) Barker; two brothers, George (Nancy) Fults and Ronnie Fults; 16 grandchildren, Kyle (Lacey), Tiffani (Jon), J.R (Tori), Sydney (Chris), Kayleigh, Keagan, David (Courtney), Christian, Kay-lynn (Austin Dale), Savannah, EliJAH, Jayson, Alex, Jacob, Ben and Kimberly; and five great-grandchildren, C.J, Hannah, Everleigh Grace, Jaxxton and Peighton Alexis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Jason Hull.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31 at Calvary Baptist Church, 128 E. C.R. 400S, Crawfordsville. The funeral service will start at 2:30 p.m. and will be live-streamed and recorded which can be viewed on Jimmy’s obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Social distancing is expected and masks are required. Burial will follow at Freedom Cemetery.
