Joan Hall, 87, of Kingman passed away at 3:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23. 2021, at her residence, with her family at her side.
Joan was born April 22, 1934, at Liverpool, England, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (Hay) Davies. She married Kenneth Ray Hall on Aug. 4, 1956, at Liverpool, England. He preceded her in death Aug. 2, 2008.
She is also preceded in death by a brother, Leslie Davies; and an infant son, Kenneth Ray Hall.
Surviving family include three daughters, Cathy (John) Ratcliff, New Richmond, Susie (Tom) Bodine, Kingman and Janet (Jack) Parchman, Scottsville, Kentucky; son Kenny W. (Tami Everson) Hall, Crawfordsville; brother Kenneth (May) Davies, Liverpool, England; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Joan was a member of the Kingman Christian Church. Through the years she had been employed at the Wallace General Store, the County Market in Crawfordsville, and she had a catering business that included wedding and graduation cakes. She enjoyed visiting with people, and was always willing to spend time in conversation with them. She enjoyed her cats; and she loved to fill her days with music, especially loud rock n’ roll music. More than anything she loved and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28 at Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Coy Overpeck officiating. Burial will be at Bonebrake Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Kingman Christian Church.
