Judith Ann Bowman, 84, of Wallace passed away March 17, 2025, at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.
She was born Jan. 16, 1941, in Parke County, to Evan and Nina (Hughes) Harvey.
Judy married Clarence “Bud” Bowman on Sept. 12, 1958, sharing 65 loving years together until his passing in 2024.
She attended Waveland schools. Judy was a gate attendant at Lake Waveland for several seasons and later Bud and Judy owned the Lake Waveland Bait shop for five years. She enjoyed being outdoors with her family, camping at Lake Waveland, mushroom hunting and fishing. Judy also enjoyed the Wallace Opry. A faithful Christian, Judy was a member of the Marshall Federated Church. Most of all, Judy loved her family.
Judy will be missed by son Brian (Amy) Bowman; daughter Vicki (David) Wilson; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Shroyer, Jenny (Kenny) Snyder and Jackie (Alan) Bruner; brothers, Robert Harvey and Greg (Pat) Harvey; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bud; sister Phyllis Pearson; and brothers, Larry and Jerry Harvey.
Visitation will be held at Sanders Funeral Care Waynetown, 202 Bratton Road, Waynetown, on Friday, March 21 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Tim Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Lutheran Cemetery.
