JASPER, Ind. (AP) _ Kimball International Inc. (KBAL) on Tuesday reported a fiscal third-quarter loss of $4.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Jasper, Indiana-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for restructuring costs and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 3 cents per share.
The furniture maker posted revenue of $138.7 million in the period.
Kimball International shares have increased 22% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $14.56, a rise of 22% in the last 12 months.
