Parent meetings for 2021 kindergarten students for Rockville Elementary and Turkey Run Elementary will be held March 9. Both programs will begin at 6 p.m. and will be held in the gym.
This meeting is for all parents of children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2021. The child must be five years old on or before Aug. 1, 2021. This meeting is for parents/guardians only. No extra family members or children. Those attending will be socially distanced. Masks are required. The meeting will be recorded for those unable to attend. Parents of students who are currently enrolled in the TRES Young Fives or RES Transitional Kindergarten classes do not need to attend.
Parents will receive information about the kindergarten curriculum of both the regular kindergarten class and the young five’s class. All students will be required to have a kindergarten screening. Parents will be asked to sign up for a time to bring their child to the school for the screenings.
