Kaitlyn “Kat” Kirkman, Crawfordsville, graduated summa cum laude from the George Washington University with a bachelor of arts degree in English adn American studies. She was the 2021 winner of the Alice Douglas Goddard Prize, which is awarded to a senior achieving the highest average in literature. She is the daughter of Kathleen Rush.
