The Knights of Columbus from St. Bernard’s Catholic Church will be again be raising funds and passing out Tootsie Rolls this spring to collect donations for the Special Olympics.
The event was approved Wednesday by city’s Board of Works council following a short presentation from club member Jim Gineris.
Knights of Columbus members will be stationed at three intersections in Crawfordsville from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 17 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 18, collecting monetary donations from drivers while handing out Tootsie Rolls.
Locations include the following intersections: South Elm Street and East South Boulevard; South Grant and South Boulevard; and East Market Street and Darlington Avenue.
