Lafayette man injured in dirt bike crash

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle accident that occurred Saturday near Lake Holiday.

Baldwin sustained severe injuries to both legs. He was flown via Stat Flight helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis for further treatment.

The incident is still under investigation. Baldwin was not wearing a helmet or any other safety gear at the time of the accident. Conservation officers remind everyone to always wear a helmet and protective riding gear when operating or riding an ORV.
