Crawfordsville freshman Abbie Lain was one of the top performers at the Noblesville Gymnastics Sectional on Friday night.
Lain won the floor exercise with a score of 9.25, and was second on the bars with a mark of 9.025. She will advance to the Portage Regional on Saturday in both events.
Lain placed eighth in the all-around with a score of 35 after getting marks of 8.725 on the balance beam, and 8 on the vault.
Crawfordsville placed seventh as a team with a score of 86.375, while Southmont was ninth with 78.7, and North Montgomery 10th with a score of 74.275. Harrison won the team title with a score of 107.075.
Crawfordsville’s Parker Hartman place 31st in the vault with a score of 7.85, while Halle Elliott was 39th with a mark of 7.65, and Sidney Robbins 41st at 7.5. On the bars Robbins was 35th with a 5.15, while Olivia Fichter was 36th at 5.125, and Elliott was 40th at 41.25.
On the balance beam Elliott was 33rd with a score of 5.825, while Robbins was 36th at 5.55, and Kimberly Holt was 39th with a score of 5. Elliott was 28th on the floor with a score of 7.225, while Christen Saunders was 33rd with a score of 7, and Robbins 38th with a 6.8.
Southmont’s Ella Watson placed 28th on the vault with a score of 7.95, while Abigail Korhorn was 37th with a 7.75, and Chaney Scott was 41st with a score of 7.5. On the bars Korhorn was 30th with a score of 5.55, while Scott was 32nd with a 5.525, and Emma Bowers was 37th with a 4.95.
On the beam Scott was 28th with a score of 6.875, while Korhorn was 35th with a 5.65. Bowers was 37th with a score of 5.2 and Watson was 38th with a 5.15. On the floor Watson was 31st with a 7.05, while Scott was 34th at 6.95, and Bowers was 37th at 6.825. Korhorn was 44th with a 5.875.
For North Montgomery Caitlin Burns was 31st on the vault with a score of 7.85, while Maggie Yeager was 35th at 7.8, while Rebecca Rodewald was 38th at 7.7, and Jaydelyn Phillips was 44th with a score of 7.3. On the bars Rodewald was 30th with a score of 5.55, while Phillips was 32nd at 5.525. Burns was 38th at 4.575, while Yeager was 41st with a score of 4.025.
On the beam Yeager was 32nd with a score of 6.375, while Burns was 39th with a mark of 5, and Phillips was 43rd at 4.4. Cadience Dildine was 46th a score of 3.4. In the floor exercise Yeager was 39th with a score of 6.75, while Amaya Moore was 40th at 6.475. Rodewald was 41st with a score of 6.275, and Phillips 42nd at 6.125
