BOONE COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a series of temporary closures on State Road 32 between Shannondale and Dover.
Beginning on or after Monday, crews will begin several closures on S.R. 32 from County Road 1175 W. to S.R. 75 for continued roadway improvements near Western Boone High School. This upcoming phase of the project involves several pipe installations, with work beginning on the west end of the project to allow better access for school busses.
Work during this phase of the project is anticipated to last until late-May but is weather-dependent and subject to change. The official detour around the project is via the S.R. 32 interchange on I-74 eastbound, to S.R. 75 north, back to S.R. 32 west.
INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and to use caution in and around all work zones.
