Larry Mark Brewer, 66, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away July 13, 2022.
He was born Sept. 28, 1955, at New Orleans, Louisana, to Lawrence E. and Daphne J. (Keller) Brewer.
Larry graduated from high school in 1973. He attended Oakland City College, and then graduated from University of Evansville with both a bachelor and master’s degree in music. Over the years he taught music in Henderson, Kentucky, Tell City, Indiana, Clarksville, Indiana, South Montgomery County, Indiana, and other schools in Kentucky and Florida until retirement. He played the trombone in several symphonies and jazz bands and was often a judge for music events.
Larry is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Daphne Brewer; siblings, Greg Brewer, St. Petersburg, Florida, Eric (Judith) Brewer, Ladoga, and sister Melinda Brewer (Joan), Milledgeville, Georgia; two nieces, Bailey Cummings and Ella Brewer; and one nephew, E.J. Brewer.
There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at Maple Ridge Cemetery, Waveland. Servies & Morgan Funeral Home has been entrusted with Larry Mark’s funeral arrangements.
