Leesa Ann Redmon, 64, of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday morning, Feb. 18, 2021, peacefully at home, with her husband by her side.

She was born May 4, 1956, to Dwayne and Donna Clark.

She attended Ladywood Catholic School and was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School, Class of 1974. She had been employed with Indiana Printing until they closed. She then started cleaning homes and was well sought after for her passion for the work and attention to detail. She was a homemaker for her remaining years and enjoyed gardening, canning and was an excellent baker.

She was an active member of St. Bernard’s Church. She held memberships at the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge. She had a passion for donating to many charities.

She always kept her large family and friends together, upheld traditions, hosted many holidays and gatherings. She loved to be the host of the party. She talked on the phone to those she cared about for hours on end. “Lips!” You always knew you were loved by her. She protected those she loved fiercely. She made friends everywhere she went and could make any situation a blast. She loved to shop and give gifts. If you walked in somewhere music was playing, Leesa would be on the dance floor and singing. She would often send “love notes” at random times just to show she cared.

Leesa’s dogs, Cole, Logan, Wilsen, Perdy Ann and Henry Lee were her children. She loved them with all her heart.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Brian Redmon; sisters, Kimarie (Bill) Green, Annie Clark and Julie (James) Brady; and nieces and nephews, Carmen and Brandie Clark, Sam (Maggie), Sarah, Katie, Joe and Ben Green, Cecil Brackett, Jimmy (Christine) and Sierra Brady, Jessica (Chris) Austin and Clayton Clark. She also had many great-nieces and nephews, but she was “Aunt Leesa” and he was “Uncle Brian” no matter who you were!

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Shayne A. Clark and Clint A. Clark.

Cremation was chosen. A calling will be held for family only from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, with a full mass following at 2 p.m. at St. Bernard’s Church. Due to COVID restrictions, Brian will host a celebration of life at a later date. Details to follow.

As Leesa always said, “When I die I don’t wanna get caught not livin’!”

In lieu of gifts or flowers, please donate to Haiti.
