It is with pleasure that I write this letter to support the candidacy of Steve Loy for the Montgomery County Council. I have known Steve for many years and have had many discussions with him about ways to make this community a great place to live and work.
I am aware that Steve has consistently dedicated himself to serve on many local boards and committees promoting the growth of this community. He was a founding member several years ago of the original Montgomery County Economic Development board of directors. He served as its first president and, consequently, was heavily involved in formulating the goals and methods to accomplish them.
Having worked several years in the local banking industry, Steve obviously has an extensive knowledge of finances and taxes which will be a great benefit to us as a member of the county council, the fiscal body of county government.
I believe that we are lucky that Steve has decided to continue to lend his expertise to this community by serving as an elected member of the county council. I know that Steve will do an outstanding job by listening to the concerns of the citizens of Montgomery County and making the best decisions possible.
Please join me in electing Steve Loy to the Montgomery County Council.
