We will be going into the voting booth in just a few days to choose the candidates that are stepping up to serve us in public offices. Since voting for our government leaders is one of the most important things we do as citizens of our free country, it is very important that we educate ourselves on each candidate’s views on how they intend to lead our community into the future. Please take the time and make the effort to learn as much as you can about each of them.
I am supporting the candidacy of Matt Nelson for Montgomery County Council. I have known Nelson for many years. He is grounded in Montgomery County, having been born and raised here. He has raised his family and operates a local business. He already contributes to our community in various ways, and now Nelson has a passion to serve us in public office so he can help create a positive economic environment that will make our county a welcoming place for people to live and work.
I am excited that Nelson is willing to serve us in this office. Please consider him for county council. Most importantly, please make certain to exercise your constitutional duty in the upcoming election — vote.
