This is a letter of support for Mindy Byers for Montgomery County Auditor. In the eight years serving as a county councilman, I have witnessed Mindy’s dedication to the auditor’s office and to the citizens of Montgomery County.
As chief deputy to the auditor she has learned the inner processes of the auditor’s office and county government. Mindy has worked every desk in the office from payroll to accounts receivable. She is active in the budgeting, calculating, and distributing funds to the taxing units like schools, libraries, etc.
I have never walked into the auditor’s office and not found her nose to the grindstone along with all the auditor’s staff. It is a very smooth and efficient operating office.
