My name is Steve Thompson and I am the chair of the MIBOR Realtor Association Realtors Political Action Committee. MIBOR is the 12-county professional association representing central Indiana’s Realtors. MIBOR RPAC works to advance public policies and candidates that build strong communities, protect property interests and promote a vibrant business environment.
I am pleased to share MIBOR RPAC’s endorsement of John Frey for re-election as Montgomery County Commissioner.
At MIBOR, we empower our members and strengthen the marketplace in central Indiana through collaboration, advocacy, professionalism, education and innovation. In line with this, MIBOR RPAC supports candidates who best represent the values and interests of homeowners and the real estate market.
In the Montgomery County Commissioners race, both John Frey and April Johnson sought our endorsement by completing a questionnaire and interviewing with our political action committee with a goal to receive our verbal and financial support.
After reviewing questionnaires and interviewing both candidates, it was apparent that one candidate stood out with the plan and the commitment to continue moving Montgomery County forward, creating the best environment for residents (both current and future), and growing the local economy. That candidate is Frey.
Frey’s proven track record of strategic planning, local public engagement and regional collaboration gives us full confidence that he is the best candidate to deliver the bright and prosperous future Montgomery County’s citizens desire.
