As many of you know, Friday was the deadline for candidates to complete their pre-primary campaign finance forms. Because I believe that our elected officials should be honest and transparent, I would like to be the first one to share my campaign finance report with the people of Montgomery County.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the folks who have supported or contributed to my campaign. I have been overwhelmed by the amount of support I have received. From yard signs, to letters to the editor, to direct financial support — I truly have been humbled by the kind words and actions I’ve received throughout this campaign. I am also proud that the overwhelming majority of those supporting my campaign live right here in Montgomery County.
I am also honored to have the support of some folks from outside our county. These are people who recognize our vision is the right one for Montgomery County and are excited by all of the hard work and dedication that is going into making that vision a reality. One example of this is that it was recently announced that I received the endorsement of MIBOR RPAC, a group of local and regional realtors who, like so many, see the potential in our county and want to see us succeed.
It takes a team, working together, to continue building on the momentum we have created in recent years delivering the things that the citizens of Montgomery County have said are important to them. We have a great team here in Montgomery County.
