I am endorsing Greg Rutledge for Montgomery County Council. Greg and his wife Jenny have been Montgomery County residents for 30 years. He is employed by Nucor Steel as a team leader. Greg presently serves on the Ripley Township Advisory Board and is a past volunteer firefighter.
I have had several discussions with Greg about many of the current issues and concerns of our county. Greg wants to see Montgomery County prosper and improve in a fiscally responsible way. Greg wants to continue the work that has been started on our infrastructure. He also wants to pursue options for a better internet service for the rural community. Having been a firefighter he is aware of the importance of first responders and will be an advocate for them.
