I am writing to express my concern regarding the potential funding cuts to Indiana public schools, including South Montgomery, as outlined in your Feb. 13 front-page article. The possibility of these cuts, along with reductions to other critical public services, should Senate Bill 1 pass, is deeply troubling.
I urge the citizens of Montgomery County and Indiana to recognize the significant impact that elections can have on essential services like education. It is crucial that we remain informed and engaged in the legislative process to ensure the continued well-being of our communities.
