Once again, I want to sing Jared McMurry’s praises for an absolutely amazing job he has done with reporting on the year of sports in our three Montgomery County high schools and those nearby. He covered sports with a passion and zeal leaping through the pages and it was a delight reading his articles.
McMurry made this challenging year so much better by the way he highlighted exciting occurrences in all our youth sports. By lifting up, with honorable praise, those who gave above and beyond expectations through hard work, commitment and discipline, he was teaching a life lesson to all of us ... that to win or succeed at anything takes those attributes.
Thank you so much for what you helped make a memorable year in our area youth sports.
